How accurate is the AI?
The AI drafts line items from your photos and notes using your configured labor rate, diagnostic fee, and business specialty. You are always the final reviewer — the draft is editable, and the server auto-corrects labor lines to your configured rate and flags any total that falls below market-floor benchmarks for your trade.
How much does it cost?
The Free tier lets you send a limited number of estimates per month. Paid tiers unlock unlimited estimates, logo branding, Stripe Connect direct-to-you payments, and PDF export. See the /pricing page for current tiers and prices.
How do customers pay me?
When you connect a Stripe account, customers can pay directly on the share link after they sign. Funds go straight to your Stripe account — QuoteDrop never holds customer money. You keep 100% of the estimate total minus Stripe's processing fee.
Are electronic signatures legally binding?
Yes, under the U.S. E-SIGN Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 7001 et seq.) and UETA in states that have adopted it. We capture the signature image, printed name, IP address, timestamp, and user agent as evidence of consent. State laws vary — consult a local attorney if enforceability in a specific jurisdiction is critical.

Does it work offline?
The app shell and your most recent estimates are cached via service worker, so you can view and edit drafts in low-signal areas. Generating a new estimate requires a connection because it calls the AI API. Share links cache the current estimate on the customer's device after first load.
What happens to my photos and customer data?
Photos are uploaded to Supabase Storage, encrypted at rest and scoped by Row-Level Security so only you and your share-link recipients can access them. They are sent to Anthropic's API under a zero-data-retention agreement — Anthropic does not train on or retain your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I export to PDF?
Yes. Every estimate has a print-friendly view at /q/[token]/print that renders to a clean PDF via your browser's print dialog. The PDF includes your logo, all line items, totals, and the signature block.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard in a single click. Your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period, and your data stays accessible for 30 days after account deletion (with estimate records retained for 7 years for tax compliance — see Privacy Policy §5).
What if the customer disputes the signature?
The share link captures signature, printed name, IP, user agent, and timestamp. You can view this audit trail in your dashboard under the estimate detail page. If disputed, export the PDF plus the audit trail as evidence.
