Terms of Service
Last updated: April 22, 2026
Welcome to QuoteDrop. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding contract between you (“User,” “Contractor,” or “you”) and QuoteDrop (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service at jobestimate.app, quotedrop.com, or any related app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The Service
QuoteDrop is software that helps contractors generate, send, and track written estimates and invoices for customer approval. We provide tools including photo capture, AI-assisted line-item generation, digital signature capture, and optional payment processing through Stripe. We are a software provider. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers; we do not perform any trade work; we do not guarantee payment from your customers.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@jobestimate.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your Content and AI-Generated Estimates
You retain ownership of the photos, customer information, and estimate data you upload (“Your Content”). You grant QuoteDrop a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you and your customers.
AI-generated line items and pricing are suggestions, not professional advice.QuoteDrop's AI uses your business profile (labor rate, tax rate, specialty), photo content, and your description to draft estimates. You are solely responsible for reviewing every estimate for accuracy, completeness, applicable building/safety codes, and correct pricing before sending it to a customer. QuoteDrop makes no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
4. Customer Signatures and Payments
When a customer signs an estimate on a share link, QuoteDrop captures the signature, printed name, IP address, timestamp, and user agent as evidence of consent. This meets the requirements of the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN, 15 U.S.C. §§ 7001 et seq.) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA) in states that have adopted it. The legal effect of an electronic signature depends on the underlying contract and your jurisdiction; it is your responsibility to ensure your estimate language is enforceable.
Payments made through the QuoteDrop share link are processed by Stripe under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement. Funds are routed directly to the contractor's connected Stripe account. QuoteDrop does not hold customer funds. Disputes, chargebacks, refunds, and tax remittance are the contractor's responsibility.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to commit fraud, deceive customers, or misrepresent work;
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or invades another's privacy;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying AI prompts;
- Share access credentials, or resell the service without written permission;
- Interfere with, probe, or circumvent the security of the service.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
QuoteDrop offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for billing errors. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, fraud, or conduct that endangers other users or the service. You may close your account at any time. After termination, we retain estimate records for up to seven (7) years to comply with tax and dispute requirements; everything else is deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI-generated content. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuoteDrop's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid QuoteDrop in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). QuoteDrop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.
10. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold QuoteDrop harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) the work you perform for your customers, (c) Your Content, or (d) your breach of these Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Harris County, Texas, except either party may bring a small-claims action or seek injunctive relief in court. You waive any right to a class action.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
